Champagne

A pale gold colour. Fine bubbles feed a persistent mousse. A delicate nose with hints of fresh citrus and white flowers. The wine’s complexity is expressed in successive notes such as those of vine peach and white fruit. A perfect balance between freshness and delicacy with fruity flavours very present on the finish.

Laurent-Perrier: The Art of Champagne

Founded in 1812 in Tours-sur-Marne, Laurent-Perrier is one of Champagne’s long-established family-owned and independent houses. Its origins trace back to André-Michel Pierlot, who established a Champagne wine business in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne. The name Laurent-Perrier emerged later when Eugène Laurent’s widow, Mathilde-Emilie Perrier, took over the house and combined their family names.

A Legacy of Freshness, Elegance & Purity

The modern identity of Laurent-Perrier was strongly shaped by Bernard de Nonancourt, who became president in 1948 and developed the house around a distinctive philosophy of freshness, elegance and purity. Laurent-Perrier became particularly known for its approach to blending reserve wines, careful plot-by-plot vinification and the use of temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats to preserve freshness and aromatic complexity.

The Art of Champagne Blending

Laurent-Perrier works primarily with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, selecting grapes from a wide range of Champagne villages, including Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. The house’s portfolio includes La Cuvée, Cuvée Rosé, Grand Siècle, Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature, Ultra Brut and Brut Millésimé. Its winemaking philosophy places particular emphasis on blending reserve wines to maintain the characteristic Laurent-Perrier style from one release to the next.

Sustainability & Champagne Heritage

Laurent-Perrier also places emphasis on sustainable viticulture within the Champagne vineyards. The Laurent-Perrier Group obtained Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (SVC) and High Environmental Value (HEV) certifications in 2018 for its vineyard holdings. The house’s main estate remains in Tours-sur-Marne, while Château de Louvois, acquired in 1989, serves as the home of its prestige cuvée Grand Siècle.
