Casa Canevel: A Boutique Estate in Valdobbiadene
Founded in 1979 by Mario Caramel, Casa Canevel, also known as Canevel Spumanti, is a boutique sparkling-wine producer in the heart of Valdobbiadene. The name Canevel comes from the local dialect and refers to a small wine cellar, reflecting the region’s long tradition of carefully crafted sparkling wines.
Rooted in the Hills of Valdobbiadene
Canevel’s vineyards are located among the steep hills of Valdobbiadene, within the renowned Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG area. The estate works with vineyards including San Biagio, Faè, Cartizze and Monfalcon, where altitude, soil and exposure contribute to the distinctive character of the wines.
