Val d’Orbieu
Val d’Orbieu is a large cooperative winery in Languedoc. It was founded in 1967 by seven winegrowers from Languedoc-Roussillon. The winegrowers joined together to promote their wines and terroirs.
Val d’Orbieu has 60 estates, 2,500 members, and 17,000 hectares of vines. The winery has been tailoring its products and winemaking styles to international demand since 2009.
Val d’Orbieu was previously known as Val d’Orbieu-Uccoar. The company rebranded earlier this year.
