Description
Baron de Ladoucette
Baron Patrick de Ladoucette has perpetuated this tradition of very high quality and added to the 200 years of history a rare vintage, the Baron de L which sublimates exceptional work and terroir. This remarkable vintage is only produced during the great vintages.Le Baron de L is recognized as one of the greatest Sauvignon wines in the world, of exceptional finesse and fullness.
Baron Patrick de Ladoucette then extended his know-how to the Sancerre vineyard and perpetuated the name of Comte Lafond for his great Sancerre vintages in exceptional 18th century bottles reminiscent of those used by his ancestor.
A few years later, Clos de la Poussie, a legendary vineyard in Sancerre, was for sale and Baron Patrick de Ladoucette purchased it. This natural amphitheater facing south allows us to produce a particular vintage, Haut de la Poussie.
