Red - Savory and Classic
Bordeaux, Pomerol

At first, it reveals a rich and charming bouquet of small, ripe red and black fruits as well as floral notes, touches of wood and smoke and a subtle hint of minerality. On the palate, Château Clinet 2017 offers a moderately full-bodied attack and a supple, round mid-palate. The aromas of red and black fruits are concentrated and supported by a straight and granular tannic line.

Description

Château Clinet

Château Clinet is a wine estate in Pomerol, Bordeaux. It’s one of the oldest vineyards in the region, with vines planted in 1785. The estate is owned and run by Ronan Laborde and Monique Bailly.

Château Clinet is considered a benchmark among the great wines of Pomerol. The wine is described as elegant, intense, and refined, with complex aromas of red fruit, blackberry, and truffle. It’s aged in oak barrels and is neither fined nor filtered before bottling.

The vineyard is run using integrated farming methods, with a preference for sustainable solutions over chemical treatments.
