DOG POINT VINEYARD
Dog Point Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard located in Marlborough, New Zealand. They are the largest certified organic vineyard in the country and produce four wines, including a sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, and pinot noir.
Their wines are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. The vineyard is situated in a desirable area for grape growing, with vines that are 25-40 years old. They practice meticulous vineyard techniques and have a focus on producing high-quality wines that can be cellared. The property also prioritizes biodiversity, with extensive organic vegetable gardens, orchards, and native plantings.
The vineyard is named after the historical Dog Point, where boundary keeping dogs used to protect sheep. The property is also home to the Ti Kouka, a native New Zealand plant that is featured in the Dog Point brand.
