The delicate nose unfolds in swaths of color. The green of eucalyptus, mint and vetiver, the yellow-orange of mirabelle plums, apricot and orange blossom, the brown of pepper, cardamom and licorice sticks, and finally silvery saline and toasty hues. The mouthfeel is elegant, expressing luxuriant simplicity and precision. The refined and silky foundation becomes more pronounced at the heart. The finish is dominated by a salinity that leaves a deep sensation of consistency.

Dom Pérignon strives towards harmony as a source of emotion – a creative ambition informed by Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon’s never-ending dialogue with nature in all its diversity, elegance, and complexity. Compelled by a shared philosophy deeply rooted in shaping nature, Mathias Bengtsson and Vincent Chaperon come together to express a vision of elevation and explore the evolving relationship between nature, technology and human creation.
In his own way, and using his own materials, Mathias Bengtsson experienced the harvest of a year, blending nature with technology, and setting out on an artistic journey inspired by the Dom Pérignon vintages. A singular sculpture was created specifically to grow around two exceptional vintages, both in magnum format.
