Deep maroon in colour that carries through to a purple hue. Blackberry aromas are lifted by subtle leather notes. Ripe, dark blackcurrant and mulberry are lifted by a rich core of crisp red fruit that remain bright across the entire length of the palate. The natural acid lifts this full bodied wine giving it a bright and crisp texture. French oak seamlessly gives way to a graphite and river stone tannin that is fine and persistent. This wine is finely balanced with a supple texture that is full and rich from start to finish.
