The apperance is inky black/purple with a deep red meniscus. Earthy tones, savoury notes and dried spiced fruit leap from the glass and are underpinned by an alluring sweet chicory and oak aroma.The palate is dense and immersive. Ripe plums and cherries lend the fruit sweetness to the chocolate notes that follow. The intense concentration is lifted by the bright natural acidity while continuing to coat the palate with fine powdery tannins.
