A Taste of French Elegance

Say France, and people think of wine, champagne and fine dining, not beer. But Kronenbourg has been brewing in Alsace since 1664, when master brewer Jérôme Hatt opened his brewery in the heart of Strasbourg. That heritage lives on in 1664 Blanc, France’s most recognised premium wheat beer, now part of the Carlsberg Group.

Pouring a hazy, sun-kissed gold under a soft, creamy white head, 1664 Blanc is a French take on the classic Belgian witbier. Bright citrus and gentle coriander spice lead the way, with a light, smooth body and a clean, refreshing finish. Its signature blue bottle stands out on any bar shelf. It is made for beach bars, sunset decks and long island afternoons, and it is one of the easiest ways to bring wheat beer to guests who usually choose lager.
