Tenute Lunelli
Tenute Lunelli is a prestigious family-owned Italian wine estate, born from the passion and vision of the Lunelli family, renowned for their legacy in fine winemaking. Building on over three generations of expertise, the family expanded beyond their celebrated sparkling wines to create a collection of exceptional still wines that express the diversity of Italy’s finest terroirs.
The Tenute Lunelli project began in the 1980s in Trentino, where the family leveraged their deep knowledge of mountain viticulture, particularly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In the early 2000s, their vision grew to include some of Italy’s most renowned wine regions, leading to the establishment of three distinctive estates: Tenuta Margon in Trentino, Tenuta Podernovo in Tuscany, and Tenuta Castelbuono (Carapace) in Umbria.
Each estate reflects a unique identity, producing wines that are true expressions of their origin, characterized by elegance, structure, and longevity. The Umbrian estate, home to the iconic Carapace winery, uniquely combines wine, art, and architecture, symbolizing the brand’s commitment to creativity and excellence.
Guided by the philosophy of being “artisans of time,” Tenute Lunelli emphasizes patience and precision, allowing nature and time to shape wines of remarkable depth and character. Sustainability remains at the core of their approach, with organic vineyard practices and a strong commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity.
Today, Tenute Lunelli stands as a symbol of Italian winemaking excellence, crafting refined wines that honor tradition while embracing innovation.
